Decorate Pete’s Shirt with Felt
I cut a shirt shape out of piece of felt and invited the girls to decorate it with felt buttons. They counted the number of buttons, compared button sizes and overall just enjoyed the process of placing those buttons where ever they wanted.

I found a pack of beautiful buttons at Goodwill and the girls were so excited to string them. They girls also dug their hands in the bowl of buttons and played with them a variety of other creative ways, such as using them as payment for their store and also putting them in rows and organizing them.
